WAZUGNL 19: Triple IT (Alkmaar)

Dinsdag 11 maart 2014 was er een bijeenkomst van de Nederlandse Windows Azure User Group. Dit keer was Triple IT zo vriendelijk om de locatie in Alkmaar en de catering te sponsoren.

19:05u–20:00u Sessie 1: Frank Lippes (Triple IT) – Ervaringen uit de praktijk
Triple IT heeft in de afgelopen jaren diverse projecten in Windows Azure gerealiseerd. In deze sessie deelt Frank ervaringen die zijn opgedaan in de projecten “X Factor Heartbeat”, “Vinson” en “Zhoof / The Voice Kids”. De focus ligt hierbij op oplossingen die als hosted service binnen Windows Azure draaien (PaaS). Tijdens deze sessie worden de problemen benoemd die Triple IT is tegengekomen en bespreekt Frank de oplossingen die daarvoor zijn gevonden. Dit is een technische sessie die bedoeld is voor software engineers, architecten en developers.
20:00u–21:00u Sessie 2: Steef-Jan Wiggers (Inter Access) – Manageability of Windows Azure BizTalk Services
One of the new services on the Windows Azure Cloud platform is BizTalk Services. A service that offers integration and EDI capabilities in the cloud. An important aspect of any cloud service is the manageability aspect. In this session the focus lies on this aspect for the BizTalk Services. How does one manage a BizTalk Services solution, what are the tools and resources in Azure to leverage to get a good overview of the BizTalk Service and its solutions. Those questions will be answered in this session and the attendees will learn more about the management side of Windows Azure BizTalk Services.
